Midi #1 & Welcome!
Hello! If you've somehow stumbled upon this (or graciously followed a link that I subtly wafted in your direction...), welcome to Madeline's Midis! I've been solving crosswords somewhat obsessively since I was in college, but I've always had a stubborn mindset that I'm great at working on things others have made, but terrible at creating them myself (I can't create new recipes but I can cook them, I can't write music but I can play it...you get my drift). I was lucky enough to attend ACPT in 2024 and even luckier to meet some fantastic friends (thanks, Owen and Spencer!!) who encouraged me to try constructing. I created a few puzzles in the fall of all shapes and sizes, but soon realized my strength really lies in small-ish, open grids with a lot of personal commentary in the clues.
